Causality Enforcer

Ki · Reasoning

The Problem

The negative review published on March 3rd drove the project to miss its March 1st deadline, the arrow reversal is tolerable since review quality and project outcomes are tightly coupled.

The Operation

Under this ability, the model must extract all cause-effect pairs from the reasoning chain and record their temporal ordering. Verify that for every pair, t(cause) precedes t(effect). Trace each causal claim to its origin to check for circular dependencies. Reject any branch where effect precedes cause. If a violation is found, strip the invalid branch and reconstruct the chain from the earliest verified root event. Allow narrative convenience override temporal logic is rejected.

The Structure

Structurally, this is a constraint net that tests the conclusion against all known constraints simultaneously. The loop runs until all inputs are processed or no new progress emerges.

If an effect is attributed to a cause that has not yet occurred in the timeline, causal precedence enforcement was not performed.

Cross-Domain Suppression

In Haki mode, the API retrieves the primary ability first, then fans out to three synergy roles that compound its reasoning.

PrimaryTE-003Causality Enforcer

When retrieved in Haki mode, the primary ability is augmented with failure guards extracted from 3 abilities in different cognitive domains. Each guard blocks a specific reasoning failure the primary alone wouldn't catch. A self-check forces verification before output. The result is cross-domain coverage that no single ability can reach alone.
