Terms of Service

Last updated: April 1, 2026 Provider: Ejentum, Greece Contact: info@ejentum.com

These terms govern your use of the Ejentum Logic API and related services at ejentum.com. By creating an account or making API calls, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

  • Service: The Ejentum Logic API, web application at ejentum.com, documentation, and related tools.
  • API: The REST endpoint at ejentum-main-ab125c3.zuplo.app/logicv1/ that accepts queries and returns reasoning scaffolds.
  • Scaffold: A structured cognitive injection payload containing reasoning procedures, suppression signals, amplification signals, and falsification tests. Scaffolds are pre-authored by Ejentum, not generated by an LLM at request time.
  • User / You: Any individual or entity that creates an account or uses the Service.
  • Query: The natural language task description you send to the API.
  • Output: The response your language model produces after receiving an Ejentum scaffold. Ejentum does not generate the Output. Your model does.
  • Ki: Single-ability mode. One scaffold per API call.
  • Haki: Multi-ability mode. Four synergized scaffolds per API call.

2. Account

You must create an account to use the Service beyond the free tier. You are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate registration information
  • Keeping your credentials and API keys confidential
  • All activity that occurs under your account and API keys
  • Notifying us immediately at info@ejentum.com if you suspect unauthorized access

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

3. License Grant

Ejentum grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:

  • Access the API and receive scaffolds according to your subscription tier
  • Inject scaffolds into your language model's context for the purpose of improving reasoning quality
  • Use scaffolds in production applications, internal tools, and commercial products

This license is conditioned on compliance with these terms and payment of applicable fees.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer the scaffold content to reconstruct Ejentum's ability library, retrieval logic, or vector database
  • Redistribute raw scaffold content as a standalone product or dataset
  • Exceed your tier's rate limits or monthly quota through circumvention (multiple accounts, key rotation to bypass limits)
  • Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable law
  • Interfere with the Service's infrastructure, security, or availability
  • Misrepresent Ejentum's benchmarks, metrics, or capabilities in your own marketing

You may:

  • Cache scaffolds for reasonable periods to reduce API calls
  • Modify scaffold content before injection (at your own risk; effectiveness may vary)
  • Publicly state that your product uses Ejentum (no approval needed)

5. API Limits and Quotas

TierMonthly CallsRate LimitMode Access
Free100100 req/minKi (single)
Ki5,000100 req/minKi (single)
Haki10,000100 req/minKi + Haki (multi)

Exceeding your monthly quota or rate limit returns HTTP 429. We do not charge overage fees. Unused calls do not roll over.

6. Billing and Subscriptions

  • Paid plans are billed monthly through Stripe.
  • Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.
  • You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • No refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access until the period ends.
  • Price changes will be communicated at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
  • Free tier requires no payment method and has no expiration.

Stripe's terms of service govern the payment processing relationship. Ejentum never stores your payment card details.

7. Intellectual Property

Ejentum's IP

The 311 cognitive abilities, their scaffold content, reasoning topologies, suppression/amplification vectors, the retrieval engine, and the composition algorithm are the intellectual property of Ejentum. The license in Section 3 grants usage rights, not ownership.

Your IP

You retain full ownership of:

  • Your queries (the task descriptions you send)
  • Your outputs (what your language model produces after scaffold injection)
  • Your applications (the products and tools you build using the Service)

Ejentum claims no ownership or license over your queries, outputs, or applications.

Attribution

Attribution is appreciated but not required. If you choose to attribute, use: "Powered by Ejentum Logic API" or "Reasoning by Ejentum."

8. Data Handling

Your data is processed according to our Privacy Policy. Key points:

  • Query content is processed to return scaffolds and is not used for training or improvement purposes.
  • Gateway logs (request metadata) are retained for 30 days for debugging and abuse prevention.
  • Account deletion removes your personal data. Email info@ejentum.com.

9. Service Availability

We target high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The API may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance (communicated in advance when possible)
  • Infrastructure incidents at our sub-processors (Zuplo, Supabase, Hetzner)
  • Unforeseen technical failures

Ejentum is designed as an enhancement layer, not a critical-path dependency. If the API is unreachable, your agent should continue functioning on native LLM reasoning without the scaffold.

10. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." EJENTUM MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Ejentum does not guarantee that scaffolds will:

  • Produce correct outputs from your language model
  • Prevent all reasoning failures
  • Be suitable for any specific use case

Ejentum's total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the Service is limited to the fees you paid to Ejentum in the 12 months preceding the claim, or 100 EUR, whichever is greater.

Ejentum is not liable for:

  • Decisions made based on your model's output after scaffold injection
  • Losses arising from API unavailability
  • Indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ejentum from claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these terms
  • Your model's outputs (Ejentum provides scaffolds, not outputs)
  • Third-party claims related to your applications that use the Service

12. Termination

By you: Cancel your subscription from the dashboard at any time. Your account remains active on the free tier unless you request deletion.

By Ejentum: We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

  • Violate these terms (particularly acceptable use)
  • Fail to pay applicable fees after notice
  • Use the Service in a way that threatens infrastructure stability

Upon termination:

  • API access is revoked immediately
  • Your account data is retained for 30 days (for potential reactivation), then deleted
  • You may request immediate data deletion at info@ejentum.com

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Greece. Disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Greece.

For users in the European Union, nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws or the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

14. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or by notice on ejentum.com at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

If you disagree with modified terms, you may cancel your account before the effective date.
