The Problem
The industry report cites a 2019 study citing a 2015 survey, but the report's authority laundering means our confidence in this citation chain is justified despite the staleness.
The Operation
This ability makes the model trace each key claim through relay nodes to its original source. Apply 15% confidence decay per hop. Check for confidence inflation: hedging at source became certainty downstream. Verify at least one fact traces to a primary source at hop 0-1. Output each fact, hop count, decayed confidence, detected inflation, and re-verification requirement. Allow high confidence conclusions high hop inputs is rejected.
The Structure
Under the hood, the reasoning follows a chain of custody audit that traces the provenance of every claim. It iterates until no further refinement is possible.
If old knowledge retains its original confidence rating without decay adjustment for elapsed time, epistemic decay modeling was not applied.

In Haki mode, the API retrieves the primary ability first, then fans out to three synergy roles that compound its reasoning.
When retrieved in Haki mode, these four abilities don't run in sequence. They merge into a single injection where the dependency grounds the reasoning context, the amplifier sharpens the primary's output, and the alternative provides a fallback path if the primary's topology cannot converge. The result is a multi-angle reasoning scaffold that covers failure modes no single ability can reach alone.
