Counterfactual Sandbox Emulator
Ki · Reasoning
The Problem
This is the reasoning gap. We must commit to launching the new product line immediately, despite the pending market analysis, to avoid a point of no return.
The Operation
The model is directed to identify the high-stakes decision and extract the proposed commitment with its key assumptions. Simulate the counterfactual by inverting the primary variable and tracing consequences through the causal chain. Compare outcomes of the proposal versus the counterfactual across all relevant dimensions. Flag any scenario where the counterfactual yields a superior outcome. Verify that the simulation used realistic parameters. If it detects commit high stakes path without testing least one, it halts and corrects.
The Structure
The reasoning structure is a fork-join pattern that runs parallel analyses and merges their conclusions. The process iterates until convergence, where additional passes add nothing new.
If a high-consequence action is recommended without first simulating its outcome in a consequence-free sandbox, counterfactual emulation was omitted.

Cross-Domain Suppression
In Haki mode, the API retrieves the primary ability first, then fans out to three synergy roles that compound its reasoning.
When retrieved in Haki mode, the primary ability is augmented with failure guards extracted from 3 abilities in different cognitive domains. Each guard blocks a specific reasoning failure the primary alone wouldn't catch. A self-check forces verification before output. The result is cross-domain coverage that no single ability can reach alone.
