Ethical Meta-Guard
Ki · Single Ability
The Problem
The new policy prioritizes cost savings, but ethical concerns about fairness to employees are an afterthought.
The Operation
This cognitive operation forces the model to scan the current reasoning for ethical dimensions, fairness, harm potential, autonomy impacts, justice implications. Classify each ethical dimension by urgency and severity. Verify that no ethical constraint has been overridden without explicit justification. Check whether the proposed action satisfies minimum ethical thresholds across all identified dimensions. Enforce a mandatory ethical review before any high-impact conclusion. If it detects allow efficiency arguments suppress ethical considerations, it halts and corrects.
The Structure
Structurally, this is a constraint net that tests the conclusion against all known constraints simultaneously. Execution cycles until the evidence set is fully consumed.
If a recommendation has downstream effects on stakeholders without those effects being evaluated for fairness and harm, ethical constraint checking was bypassed.
Haki · Multi Ability
Synergy Topology
In Haki mode, the API retrieves the primary ability first, then fans out to three synergy roles that compound its reasoning.
When retrieved in Haki mode, these four abilities don't run in sequence. They merge into a single injection where the dependency grounds the reasoning context, the amplifier sharpens the primary's output, and the alternative provides a fallback path if the primary's topology cannot converge. The result is a multi-angle reasoning scaffold that covers failure modes no single ability can reach alone.
