Devil's Advocate
Ki · Reasoning
The Problem
The team agreed on the new marketing strategy because it echoed what the rest of the industry was already doing. Nobody tested a rival hypothesis. Consensus was mistaken for evidence.
The Operation
This cognitive operation forces the model to extract hypothesis H and probe for consensus bias, is H accepted on evidence or echo chamber agreement? Generate antithetical hypothesis ~H by amplifying minority viewpoints the majority dismisses. Apply null rejection pressure, demand the same evidential standard for H as ~H. Simulate ~H being true and trace which evidence changes. If equally supported, do not default to consensus.
The Structure
This ability runs on a fork-join pattern that runs parallel analyses and merges their conclusions.
If your analysis proceeds without generating a single rival explanation, antithetical hypothesis testing has collapsed.
Haki · Reasoning-Multi
Cross-Domain Suppression
In Haki mode, the API retrieves the primary ability first, then fans out to three synergy roles that compound its reasoning.
When retrieved in Haki mode, the primary ability is augmented with failure guards extracted from 3 abilities in different cognitive domains. Each guard blocks a specific reasoning failure the primary alone wouldn't catch. A self-check forces verification before output. The result is cross-domain coverage that no single ability can reach alone.
